Job Summary:
As a Lead Enterprise Engineer, you will serve as a key contributor focused on designing, deploying, and supporting custom augmented reality solutions tailored to enterprise customer needs. You will lead the technical execution of complex, customer-specific projects from concept through post-installation support, ensuring seamless system integration and long-term value.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to ensure system designs are highly standardized, self-deployable, and maintainable by customers and/or partners.
- Work with customers and partners to ensure production data is connected and delivering value at scale.
- Integrate AI tools as appropriate to deliver value to customers.
- Work with the software development team to optimize and streamline deployment, authoring, connectivity, and maintenance.
- Work with the application engineering team to ensure designs meet customer requirements and can evolve appropriately as customer needs change.
- Work with the operations team during deployments to ensure project specifications and standards are enforced.
- Perform root cause analysis when systems are not meeting customer requirements, then implement and document durable corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain documentation on augmented reality solutions to maximize uptime and lifetime value to customers.
- Provide feedback from customer engagements to inform product and process improvements.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing best practices and technical insights.

Required Competencies:
- Strong technical skills in industrial software/hardware integration and system design.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead customer interactions and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability in high-pressure, real-time environments.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing principles (Lean, Six Sigma, TPS) and operational systems.
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities across multiple concurrent projects and communicating effectively.
- Proficiency in Windows OS, networking, PC hardware, and CAD or design tools.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of and ability to remain compliant with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required.
- 5+ years’ experience in systems engineering, applications engineering, or industrial automation.
- Prior experience working in customer-facing technical roles, particularly with enterprise clients.
- Experience in manufacturing environments required.

Be able to work on a flexible schedule, when necessary, with potential to flex hours to accommodate customer requirements. Occasional requirement to work late or during a weekend to accommodate a customer schedule or time zone.
Travel Requirements:
- Minimum 50% domestic and international travel required.
